have been involved with pipes & pipe bands since 1960 and served my piping apprenticeship under P/M. Dougi Auld & P/M Walter McMinn of the Mount Carmel pipe band who is the only Pipe Major to take a civilian English pipe band up through the grades in consecutive years to grade one status. |

With quality in mind I have enlisted the services of a very talented silversmith P/M Bernie Leigh of Celtic Silver, who's engraving and silver work is second to none, and who's services are sought after world wide. Bernie consented to do the work on my smallpipes after listening to the tone, and inspecting the workmanship that had gone into the making of these individually hand made pipes. Both Bernie and myself as pipers know that tone combined with the quality of workmanship (as well as cost) is at the back of most pipers mind, and for these reasons I am sure you will not be disappointed with these pipes. The following is the result of this special partnership. |
