In later years I became the Pipe Major of the City of Salford pipe band, a band well known on both the English & Scottish pipe band scene. My involvement in the manufacture and retail of pipe band equipment dates back over twenty years, with the last ten concentrating on developing my Scottish smallpipes.

With quality in mind I have enlisted the services of a very talented silversmith P/M Bernie Leigh of Celtic Silver, who's engraving and silver work is second to none, and who's services are sought after world wide.

Bernie consented to do the work on my smallpipes after listening to the tone, and inspecting the workmanship that had gone into the making of these individually hand made pipes.

Both Bernie and myself as pipers know that tone combined with the quality of workmanship (as well as cost) is at the back of most pipers mind, and for these reasons I am sure you will not be disappointed with these pipes.
